In keeping with the season of graduations, we offer Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance #1 also known as Land of Hope and Glory. Gallic spirit pervades Bizet’s L’Arlésienne Suite #2. We will adhere to a European tradition of both playing and singing the 2nd movement as an Agnus Dei. The concert opens with new music by Kitsap County’s own Nathan Johnson. His Overture to an Exciting Occasion,Starry Night, and Frenetic Energy, will be a delightful introduction to our final gala performance. The winner of our Concerto Competition, Daniel Hnatovic will join us in the 1st movement of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto #1.
